What action can residents take to tackle climate change and reduce their waste, and how can service providers such as the City Corporation support them?

… protects, promotes and enhances the environment
Companies - can be more pro-active in providing facilities for cigarette ends.
City Corporation - not enough newspaper recycling bins and alternative bins for other waste that could be recycled.
To have an effect on climate change it is vital to make it financially detrimental to companies to leave empty offices lit up like Xmas trees at night. Give them a financial penalty on business rates if possible to reduce this enormous waste.
